74-Year-Old Teddy Anderson Injured In Dallas, IA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on August 5th in Dallas, Iowa.  74-year-old Teddy Anderson was injured in a four-vehicle chain reaction crash along Interstate 80 when a driver failed to reduce speed and collided with a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 that was stopped in the roadway due to a previous accident. The Chevrolet continued on and collided with the side of a Dodge Grand Caravan and then a fourth vehicle before coming to a rest. Anderson sustained unspecified injuries and was taken to Methodist Hospital in Des Moines for treatment. The ISP continues to investigate the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
