Dellacava was crossing in a battery-powered wheelchair when he was struck by a 2005 Toyota Siena. He was transported to an area hospital where he sadly succumbed to injuries. The driver, a 25-year-old woman, remained at the scene to cooperate with officers. The accident remains under investigation by NYPD.
