72-Year-Old Alejandra Martinez Arrested In Amarillo, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on August 7th in Amarillo, Texas.  72-year-old Alejandra Martinez was arrested for intoxication manslaughter after she struck a pedestrian along Amarillo Boulevard. The victim who remains unidentified was fatally injured and sadly declared deceased at the scene. Authorities say Martinez displayed signs of inebriation and she was placed under arrested for intoxication manslaughter. The incident remains under investigation by the Amarillo Police Department's Traffic Investigation Unit. We send our thoughts  and prayers to the family of the victim.
