71-Year-Old Yolanda Cano Killed in San Antonio, TX Accident

Pedestrian dies in hit-and-run crash

A tragic accident occurred on July 26 in San Antonio, Texas, when 71-year-old Yolanda Cano was struck by an unknown vehicle while walking in the eastbound lanes of El Paso Street at about 8:09 p.m. The driver fled without stopping to render aid. Cano was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are seeking witnesses and continue to investigate the hit-and-run. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
