Motorcyclist Fatally Struck at Poplar Street and 11th Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on May 24 in Walla Walla, Washington, when 71-year-old Robert Ellis DeWayne Jr. was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Poplar Street and 11th Avenue. DeWayne was riding a motorcycle around 6:40 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle. He later died at the hospital. The female driver fled the scene but later turned herself in.
