A tragic accident occurred on December 1 in Huntington Beach, California, when 71-year-old Kurt George Nickel was struck by an F250 pickup at Springdale Street and Brannen Drive. Nickel and his dog were hit around 6:25 a.m. and tragically died at the scene. The 37-year-old driver stayed and cooperated .We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
