A tragic accident occurred on June 10 in Long Beach, California, when 71-year-old Kathleen Banks was struck by a Chevrolet Malibu at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Pacific Avenue. Authorities said she was transported to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries. The driver was a 19-year-old. The investigation is ongoing.
