70-Year-Old Daniel Walker Killed in Tyler, TX Accident

Man struck by truck while crossing W. Gentry Parkway

A tragic accident occurred on March 11 in Tyler, Texas, when 70-year-old Daniel Walker was struck and killed by a westbound truck while crossing W. Gentry Parkway near N. Ross Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Authorities said the driver and a witness remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Walker was pronounced dead despite lifesaving efforts by first responders.
