69-Year-Old Thomas Reed Killed In Jacksonville, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, October 1 at around 7:40 PM in Jacksonville, Texas. 69-year-old Thomas Reed was tragically killed after being struck by a motor vehicle in the 1000 block of S. Jackson St. Authorities reported that the victim was attempting to cross the street when a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Thomas Hickman struck him. He was transported to a local hospital where he tragically later died. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
