Ms. Gray was traveling in a BMW sedan eastbound and slowed down to make a left hand turn into a driveway. That is when an eastbound GMC truck, driven by 41-year-old Abel Rangel, traveling at a high rate of speed, attempted to pass Ms. Gray. He ran a stop sign and struck her BMW, forcing it into a building, and the GMC into a signal light pole. Both drivers were sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
