69-Year-Old James Born II Killed in Klickitat County, WA Accident

Cyclist struck in hit-and-run on State Route 97

A tragic accident occurred on June 15 in Klickitat County, Washington, when 69-year-old James Born II was riding a bicycle northbound on State Route 97 near milepost 1 at about 6:31 a.m. Authorities said a vehicle struck him and fled the scene. He was pronounced dead at the site. Washington State Patrol is searching for the suspect and investigating the incident. We send thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
