Tragic accident that occurred on May 12 in Bakersfield, California. 69-year-old Herminia Perez was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 43 north of Pond Road when the driver, only identified as a male, veered to the left, leaving his lane. The vehicle then went directly into the path of a southbound Dodge vehicle, resulting in a collision. The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
