69-Year-Old David McGinn Killed In North Tonawanda, NY Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on May 17 in North Tonawanda, New York. 3 people died when, according to the North Tonawanda Police Department, a pickup truck occupied by three people turned from River Road onto Felton Street. When the truck drove onto the grade crossing, the gates closed around it. Consequently, the truck was hit by Amtrak train No. 281. All three occupants were killed in the crash. One of the victims was later identified as 69-year-old David McGinn. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
