Pedestrian dies after being struck on Irvine Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on June 3 in Newport Beach, California, when 69-year-old MaryAnn White-Calhoun was struck by a vehicle in the 3400 block of Irvine Avenue near Bristol Street. Authorities said she was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passengers in the vehicle were hospitalized with injuries of unknown severity. The investigation is ongoing.
