Fisher was tragically killed in a crash with the driver of a hit-and-run semi-truck on Langford Road. Fisher was traveling in a Dodge truck when he was struck by a Freightliner tractor-trailer attempting to make a U-turn. Fisher was rushed to a local hospital, where he sadly later died. The driver of the 18-wheeler, 69-year-old Joseph Gaither was charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death.
