68-Year-Old Stanley Fisher Killed In Blythewood, SC Accident

The accident remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday March 18th at about 7:00 a.m. in Blythewood, South Carolina. 68-year-old Stanley D. Fisher was tragically killed in a crash with the driver of a hit-and-run semi-truck on Langford Road. Fisher was traveling in a Dodge truck when he was struck by a Freightliner tractor-trailer attempting to make a U-turn. Fisher was rushed to a local hospital, where he sadly later died. The driver of the 18-wheeler, 69-year-old Joseph Gaither was charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death. The accident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
