68-Year-Old Maria Jacobo Killed In Canoga Park, CA

Pedestrian struck at Owensmouth Ave.

Tragic accident that occurred on November 24 in Canoga Park, California. 68-year-old Maria Jacobo became the latest victim of a deadly vehicle vs. pedestrian collision on Thanksgiving Day in the 8000 block of Owensmouth Avenue.  Jacobo was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her death resulted from multiple blunt force injuries, the medical examiner's office reported.  There is no information on how the collision occurred or the driver who struck the elderly victim. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
