68-Year-Old Mai Thi Tran Killed in Colmesneil, TX Accident

Wrong-way head-on crash on U.S. Highway 69 leaves two dead and others injured

A tragic accident occurred on May 4 in Colmesneil, Texas, when 68-year-old Mai Thi Tran was killed in a wrong-way head-on collision on U.S. Highway 69. A northbound Nissan crossed into oncoming traffic and struck her southbound Toyota. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers from the Nissan were hospitalized.
