68-Year-Old James Reiner Involved In Blount, TN Accident

Motorcycle accident on US Highway 129

Tragic accident that occurred on April 29 in Blount, Tennessee. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a motorcycle operated by 68-year-old James Reiner was traveling westbound on a downhill section of U.S. Highway 129 when he failed to maintain control at a curve in the roadway. As a result, Reiner traveled over the dividing line and struck an eastbound motorcycle head-on. The driver of the second motorcycle sustained unspecified injuries in the crash. Reiner was charged with reckless driving, due care violations, and failing to maintain lanes. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
