Passenger dies in single-vehicle accident on Walpole Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on May 27 in California City, California, when 68-year-old Gabriel Tetoe Jaryenneh Sr. was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a single-vehicle crash on the 7000 block of Walpole Avenue. Authorities said the vehicle veered off the roadway for unknown reasons and crashed. Jaryenneh Sr. died at the scene from his injuries. The investigation remains ongoing.
