Struck while entering parked car on West Anapamu Street

A tragic accident occurred on February 6 in Santa Barbara, California, when 68-year-old Teresa Garcia of Ventura was struck by a vehicle while attempting to enter her parked car on the 100 block of West Anapamu Street around 5:20 p.m. She was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, where she later died. The driver remained at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
