67-Year-Old Yvonne Lewis Killed In Asheville, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, April 15th at about 7:42 AM in Asheville, North Carolina. 67-year-old Yvonne Lewis was tragically killed when she was struck by a vehicle on Merrimon Avenue near the Coleman Avenue intersection. She was struck by an Audi driven by 39-year-old Richard Charlton. Lewis was rushed to Mission Hospital where she sadly later died. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
