67-Year-Old Jessie Allen Killed In Savannah, GA AccidentPost office pedestrian crashPosted: 3 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on Saturday, March 6 at around 11:45 AM in Savannah, Georgia. 67-year-old Jessie Allen was sadly killed in a tragic vehicle versus pedestrian collision that also injured three others. 82-year-old Phyllis Champion was attempting to park her Toyota in a lot near the post office, when she inadvertently hit the gas pedal instead of the brake. The vehicle crashed through the glass window and hit Ms. Allen, a customer in the post office. She sadly died from injuries sustained in the crash. Three others, two customers and one employee suffered injuries and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
