67-Year-Old Victor Gonzalez Killed in Salida, CA Accident

A tragic accident occurred on July 10 in Salida, California, when 67-year-old Victor Martinez Gonzalez was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash. Around 3:41 a.m., a 20-year-old Modesto man ran a stop sign and broadsided Gonzalez’s car. Gonzalez died at the scene. The driver fled but was later arrested for DUI and manslaughter. Authorities are investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
