67-Year-Old Richard Drew Killed in Amador County, CA Accident

Struck in Head-On Collision on State Route 88

A tragic accident occurred on October 13 in Amador County, California, when 67-year-old Richard Drew from Pine Grove was killed in a head-on collision. An elderly woman from Redwood City driving a 2013 Chevy Silverado westbound on State Route 88 veered into the eastbound lane east of Aqueduct Grove Road, striking Drew's 1992 Chevy C1500. Drew died at the scene. The Silverado driver suffered major injuries and was transported to UC Davis Medical Center. CHP is investigating. One other victim injured in this incident.
