67-Year-Old Laura Harker Killed in Desert Hot Springs, CA Accident

E-bike rider struck by pickup truck

A tragic accident occurred on September 7 in Desert Hot Springs, California, when 67-year-old Laura Harker was killed in a collision with a pickup truck. The crash happened Sunday morning on Pierson Boulevard, about half a mile west of North Indian Canyon Drive, when a Ford F-150 struck her e-bike from behind. Harker suffered traumatic injuries and later died at Desert Regional Medical Center. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
