66-Year-Old James King Killed In E. Peoria, IL Accident

Motorcycle accident at Illinois Route 26

Tragic accident that occurred on May 2nd in East Peoria, Illinois. 66-year-old James King lost his life when his motorcycle was struck from behind at the intersection of Illinois Route 26 and West Spring Creek Road. King was stopped at the intersection when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old man. King sadly died in the wreck.  The driver was cited for failure to reduce speed.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
