Bacon was driving a 2004 Ford Expedition eastbound when a Fusion driver did not stop at the intersection and was hit by the Expedition. The Fusion then went off the left side of the road and slid down an embankment, while the Expedition rolled onto its side before also sliding down an embankment. Bacon was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville with injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
