65-Year-Old Grasiela Gomez Killed in Mountain View, CA Accident

Parked vehicle struck by alleged intoxicated driver on I-805

A tragic accident occurred on May 3 in Mountain View, California, when 65-year-old Grasiela Gomez of Temecula was killed after her parked Toyota was struck by an alleged DUI driver. Authorities say Markus Eugene Turner veered off Interstate 805 near 43rd Street and hit Gomez’s vehicle, then collided with two others. Gomez died at the scene. Turner has been arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
