Passenger killed after car crashes into tree near Monterra Apartments

A tragic accident occurred on June 14 in Parkland, Washington, when 65-year-old David Holmes Jr. was killed in a crash involving a suspected DUI driver. The vehicle left the road near 112th Street East and D Street East, hitting a fence and a tree. Holmes, a passenger, died from blunt-force injuries. The 54-year-old female driver was critically injured and faces possible DUI and vehicular homicide charges. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
