65-Year-Old Bernie Thomas Injured In Fayetteville, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occured on September 5 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. 65-year-old Bernie Thomas was badly hurt in a three-vehicle head-on accident involving an alleged impaired driver, 30-year-old Travis Greene, who was speeding along South Reilly Road. The wreck occurred when he  crashed into the rear of a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, traveled across the median, and slammed head-on into a 2005 Chrysler 300 driven by the victim. Bernie was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police say Greene was under the influence of an unknown substance at the time of the crash and are expecting charges to be filed soon.
