64-Year-Old Tassie Ruark Killed In Walton, GA Accident

tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, March 14 at around 4:39 PM in Walton, Georgia. 64-year-old Tassie Ruark was tragically killed when the minivan she was a passenger in was struck by a car that turned in front of it on Highway 138th and Guthrie Cemetery Road. A Honda Civic traveling east attempted to make a left turn in front of the Honda Odyssey that Ruark was a passenger in. The civic was then struck on the right side by the front of the minivan that was unable to avoid the vehicle. Ruark was taken to a medical center where she sadly later died. The accident remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
