A tragic accident occurred on April 2 in Petaluma, California, when 63-year-old Ron Jones was arrested after a hit-and-run crash that injured a 10-year-old boy in a marked crosswalk at Howard and Washington streets near St. Vincent de Paul Elementary. Jones was taken into custody on suspicion of felony DUI and hit-and-run with injury. Authorities continue investigating the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
