A tragic accident occurred on July 11 in San Antonio, Texas, when 63-year-old Maria Del Carmen Santos was attempting to cross South Zarzamore Street near Gillette Boulevard shortly after 9 p.m. Authorities said Santos was struck by a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
