A tragic accident occurred on July 3 in Lewis County, Washington, when 63-year-old John Sloane was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5. Authorities said the Ford F-150 in which Sloane was a passenger allegedly failed to negotiate a curve and collided with another vehicle. Sloane was hospitalized, while the other driver died. The investigation remains ongoing.
