A tragic accident occurred on December 28 in Salinas, California, when 63-year-old Shawn Allen, who was in a wheelchair, was struck and killed by a vehicle just before 8 p.m. near Wells Fargo at South Main and Winham streets. Allen died from his injuries at the scene. Additional details remain under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
