63-Year-Old Paul Lopez Killed in Escalon, CA Accident

A tragic accident occurred on May 7 in Escalon, California, when 63-year-old Paul Lopez was fatally struck by an Amtrak train. The incident happened around 1:45 p.m. near the Highway 120 and McHenry Avenue railroad crossing. It remains unclear why Lopez was near the tracks. He died at the scene from his injuries.
