62-Year-Old Robert Cosio Killed in Escondido, CA Accident

Struck while crossing East Valley Parkway on bicycle

A tragic accident occurred on June 7 in Escondido, California, when 62-year-old Robert Cosio was fatally struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle. The incident happened shortly after 9 p.m. on East Valley Parkway, about 100 feet west of Ash Street, when a Honda Accord hit Cosio. He died from blunt force injuries. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
