A tragic accident occurred on June 5 in San Diego, California, when 62-year-old Maria De Los Angeles Garcia was struck by a vehicle in the 2600 block of El Cajon Boulevard at about 11:38 a.m. She was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where she died the next day.
