62-Year-Old James Estis Killed in Los Angeles, CA Accident

Man dies after hit-and-run collision

A tragic accident occurred on August 20 in Los Angeles, California, when 62-year-old James Estis was killed in a hit-and-run accident. According to police, Estis was crossing Vermont Avenue in a marked crosswalk around 10:40 p.m. when an unknown northbound vehicle struck him. Estis, who was using a wheelchair, died from his injuries at a nearby hospital. Police are offering a reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
