A tragic accident occurred on April 14 near Thousand Palms, California, when 62-year-old George Mauricio was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 10. Authorities said a semi-truck crossed the median into oncoming lanes, triggering a collision involving multiple vehicles. Mauricio, driving a cement truck, died at the scene.
