Poole tried to cross the road and was struck by a white car. The vehicle driver fled the scene after the collision. Poole sadly died in the wreck. Deputies are looking for the hit-and-run vehicle with extensive damage to the front. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 478-751-7500.
