A tragic accident occurred on March 1 in Newhall, California, when 61-year-old Mario Baez of San Fernando was killed in a collision involving a Los Angeles County Public Works truck at Newhall Avenue and Sierra Highway around 6:50 a.m. Baez and another man died from their injuries. A third person was treated and released at the scene. Authorities continue investigating the cause of the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims’ families.
