61-Year-Old David Daniels Killed in Amarillo, TX Accident

Pedestrian dies after being struck by fleeing pickup truck at intersection

A tragic accident occurred on April 27 in Amarillo, Texas, when 61-year-old David Joe Daniels was struck by a white pickup truck at S.W. 3rd Avenue and McMasters Street. Authorities said the driver fled the scene. Daniels was taken to a hospital, where he later died. Another man was also injured. The investigation is ongoing.
