A tragic accident occurred on May 18 in Lancaster, California, when 61-year-old William Edwards was struck by an SUV near the intersection of Sierra Highway and Avenue J-8. Authorities said he was transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
