60-Year-Old Lakecha Collins Killed in Lubbock, TX Accident

Woman dies in wrong-way crash on Interstate 27

A tragic accident occurred on July 23 in Lubbock, Texas, when 60-year-old Lakecha Collins was a passenger in a vehicle struck by a wrong-way driver on Interstate 27. Collins was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others also died, while four people suffered serious injuries. Police believe alcohol and excessive speed may have contributed to the crash.
