Posted: 3 years ago
Tragic accident That occurred on December 31 at around 4 PM in San Francisco California. 60-year-old Elizabeth Platt was sadly killed in a hit-and-run crash caused by an intoxicated parolee. Platt was crossing the Second and Mission Street intersection, when a stolen Honda being driven by 45-year-old Troy McAllister struck the victim. McAllister initially fled the scene, but was later apprehended in a nearby commercial building by police. Another woman sadly died as well. According to investigators, McAllister disregarded a red light and t-boned another vehicle. This caused him to lose control, spinning through the intersection and striking the two women in the crosswalk. McAllister had a history of crime having been arrested multiple times on suspicion of car theft, possession of burglary tools, and violating the terms of his parole. We send our thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims.
