60-Year-Old Yi Zhang Killed in Rancho Penasquitos, CA Accident

Cyclist struck on Salmon River Road

A tragic accident occurred on December 10 in Rancho Penasquitos, California, when 60-year-old Yi Zhang of San Diego was fatally struck while riding a bicycle. Authorities said the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 12900 block of Salmon River Road, east of Black Mountain Road. Zhang was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
