60-Year-Old Cynthia Romero Killed in Yuba County, CA Accident

Wheelchair-bound woman struck on Forty Mile Road

A tragic accident occurred on March 7 in Yuba County, California, when 60-year-old Cynthia Romero was struck and killed while in her wheelchair on Forty Mile Road near the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and Toyota Amphitheatre around 4:30 a.m. Authorities said Romero was pronounced dead at the scene. She leaves behind six children and 10 grandchildren. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
