60-Year-Old Bulmaro Alvarez Chavez Killed in Castaic, CA Accident

DUI Multi-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 5

A tragic accident occurred on November 8 in Castaic, California, when 60-year-old Bulmaro Alvarez Chavez was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 5 just north of Templin Highway around 11:10 p.m. Chavez was driving a Jeep Cherokee and was ejected, dying at the scene. A 21-year-old Wasco man in a Toyota Camry was arrested for DUI and vehicular manslaughter. Authorities continue to investigate. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
