Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, August 24 at around 8 PM in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. 6-year-old Tamy Hiromi Guahica  was tragically killed after the 30-year-old driver of a Lexus struck her on 12th Avenue. Qiuhua Zhu crossed over the double yellow lines, driving on the wrong side of the road against oncoming traffic. It was then that he struck her the young girl and fled the scene before returning back. The driver faces multiple charges including manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, and improper left turn on a one-way road, among others. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
